so very cute :) I like your new page too. very pretty :)
Love the list—SO relating here!!
I think I'll try my favorite today . . . "You guys don't need to pick up your toys, really I ENJOY doing it." I think my kids would pass out from shock . . . and then I might actually get something done! : )
I love that list.
I know many of those are things I would never say either.
I love the toy one too.
Or the play dough...that's my favorite too...(not). The kids like it but it makes such a mess.
2. ~You guys don't need to pick up your toys....really, I enjoy doing it.
I think my family THINKS they have been hearing me say this for 20+ years. For some reason they just DON'T get it!
Great list, Heidi!
I like #10. Thankfully we have internet here at work so I can stay in touch with everyone!
Yeah, I'm with you on #10!
HA - YOU CRACK ME UP! Love all of them!
Here's mine - "Alex, we should go out and buy the Power Rangers DVD collection this weekend"
Here's mine for today: Shayla I really enjoy you talking back to me! Please keep on doing it!
How about, "Let's have a playdate at MY house!" Ha Ha! Just a little humor!
Love your list!
why don't you ever order prime rib? Crazy!
Love it (especially the beer comment).
get this!
last night chad and i had to attend some swanky dinner for a board he's on. i was thrilled at the thought of going out for supper somewhere nice that served at least three courses!!
so i put on my red heels and sassy black cocktail dress and headed out for an evening of fine dining even if the company would be a bunch of sophisticates.
guess what the main course was....a huge-no SLAB, of red, ozzey, fat-lined, PRIME RIB! are you kidding me? i wore red heels for this? thank God the dinner salad and steamed vegetables were good!
my husband was moderately embarassed of me though, i fear. while the rest dug in i left the slab of still fresh meat on my plate and politely waited for my CHEESECAKE DESSERT!
What, you don't LOVE play-doh the way I do? ha. So many times I have succumbed to the play doh temptation, to then be cursing under my breath as I'm picking up the little shards of it from my carpet! argh.
Great list.
I can't believe you don't like prime rib. Are you really my sister. You can order the end if you need it more well done, but who would want to. And the ring of fat tastes like butter. Mmmm prime rib with just a bit of creamed horseradish. I'm sure you looked dainty not eating that "slab of meat" I suppose Chad was only too obliging to help you clean your plate.
"just one beer" now that's my sis. Mmmmm prime rib and beer I got to go I'mmmmmmm getting too hungry.
That's so funny. But I didn't know you didn't like prime rib. Do you take after your mother and need it well done. When my boys were growing-up I band pay-doh from the house. Nice new design for your web page, my we are getting creative.
bloody, red, oozy, prime rib.
thanks heidi. as if i needed another reason for throwing up!!!
;-)
ps. i don't like prime rib, either.
Poor Heidi, there is nothing quite like prime rib. I love it! I don't eat much red meat, but I luvvvv prime rib. I'm sorry to say that I can no longer have it due to all the wonderful seasonings that make it taste so great. I now get to enjoy the yummy greens (can't have salad) called veggies :) Sorry, I hate beer.
By the way, I used to read books with only a hand full of pages and lots of pictures. It's a good thing Heidi. This is a wonderful season in life...enjoy! Your time will come for big girl books. Trust me, you will look back and long for "Green Eggs and Ham".
I'm with you Heidi on the prime rib thing. Anything pink is too gross for me to eat. I remember when Robb and Teresa got married. Craig and I had just started dating and we went to the rehearsal at Lakeshore (sorry Teresa for saying this!) and I ordered the prime rib. It was still mooing at me while sitting there on the plate! YUCK! Since then I can't bring myself to try it again.
I didn't know about the prime rib thing, Heidi. I knew you didn't like the fat.
I'm with you on the beer. Never met a beer or two I didn't like, unless I had been filling up on Pils and my bar-friend orders me a "dark lager".
Word to the wise: Don't mix your liquors, and don't mix your beers.
U.A.
Great list Heidi...what's all the fuss over play-doh!?
Totally kidding. I think it helps that we have hardwood floors in our kitchen. Easier clean up...and the kids LOVE IT!
Love #4. If I ever win the lotter, I'm buying us boobs! :)
...and by that time I should be able to spell lotterY.
Love your list!! I would love to be able to say #1 and mean it. Oh well!!
Kerrie ~ you crack me up!!
Great comments. You made me laugh.
OK--I gotta do one of these posts! Hee
Golly - only took me 5 nights to catch up to the current posts. I'm with Shane on the prime rib. What would Grampa Dub say? He'd probably make you some lacy eggs.
Good blog - I didn't even know you had 4 angels now.
WOW, you went with a very bright and cheery set-up...nice as everything is becoming wintry and drab here.
Here we are alike again...NOT a red meat fan either and I could not make it if my life depended on it!
My favorite was #4! I am with ya sister...will NEVER say that. hee!
We went to a buffet brunch today and guess what was on the menu? Prime rib! I laughed and thought of your list as I watched the server cut a slab for me :-D
EWWWWWWWE! I big fat slab of raw, bloody, fatty meat makes me gag. YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!
#4 - Big boobs just get in the way of things anyway. However, they do come in handy as flotation devices if you ever fall overboard at sea. Not that I have firsthand knowledge of this.
